Sweet Little Bill loves to cuddle and to get belly rubs. A devoted companion, he genuinely wants to spend as much time with his people as he can. He is treat motivated and truly loves learning new things. He loves showing off that he knows how to 'shake' and how to run through Dogtown's agility course. Since arriving at Dogtown, he has been practicing a training technique during walks that keeps his attention on his caregivers and on treats, making him a very nice walker.
Little Bill is not reactive to other dogs, but he does need to be the only pet in a home. He has a prey drive, so smaller animals and cats are just too exciting for him to live with. In the past, Little Bill had some anxiety, but he has adjusted wonderfully to life at the Sanctuary. Although he is still on medication for anxiety, it's likely he could be weaned off of it once he is settled in a home. He loves being with people and leaning into them, and he has no idea that he is not a lap dog. Little Bill has a generous sponsor who will cover a portion of his adoption costs.
