Special Criteria

If there is one word to describe Marmalade, it's "smart.? She enjoys training and loves to play fetch. Born in 2015, she came to the Sanctuary from a Best Friends Network Partner organization in California. Marmalade would enjoy an active home and would make an excellent hiking buddy. After a busy day or some good exercise, she can be a couch potato who just wants to cuddle up with you. Marmalade will guard food and her bowl and must go to a home where she'll be an only pet (she has shown aggression toward other dogs and cats in the past). In Dogtown, she is doing training to help her overcome leash reactivity toward other dogs and to reduce her food bowl guarding. She would thrive as an only pet, with a person or family who is willing to continue her training and take her on some adventures.
