Poseidon

Duck
Looks Like: Pekin
Color: White
Sex: Male

Poseidon and Neptune are two handsome male Pekin ducks who were part of a dramatic rescue in order to get to Wild Friends. They became trapped on a tiny piece of land stuck between high cliffs and two waterfalls, and they were unable to escape. Besides being hungry and scared, the boys suffered no ill effects from their adventure, and are perfectly healthy. They are very closely bonded, and would prefer a home together. They are full of personality, and they love a fresh pond! Ducks are very social and interactive, and they would be happiest with animal friends, whether it be other ducks, chickens, or even a friendly dog or cat. They can not fly, and will need access to a pond daily, as well as protection from predators and weather extremes. No sanctuary visit necessary, however, you must be within driving distance to adopt. If you are interested in Poseidon and Neptune, please fill out an application for them!
