Book your dream vacation to Best Friends Animal Sanctuary in Kanab, Utah!

COVID-19 UPDATE: As of Monday, March 16, Best Friends Animal Sanctuary will be closed to all visitors and non-local volunteers until further notice. Best Friends cares deeply about the health and well-being of our staff and visitors and, although this is a difficult decision to make, we believe it is the best thing to do for everyone’s welfare. You can find additional information here along with contact information should you have any questions or concerns

Every year, thousands of volunteers and visitors come to the Sanctuary, so planning ahead is important. Due to demand, some tours are booked months in advance. So, we recommend planning your experience here before booking flights. Remember, the Sanctuary operates on the Mountain Time Zone.

See an overview of the whole Sanctuary, spend time at a specific animal area or even go on a guided hike!

Spend some quality one-on-one time with the animals. Start by creating your volunteer profile, then book shifts.

Book your accommodations at the Best Friends Roadhouse and Mercantile, the newest lodging option in town and the area’s (if not the entire country’s) most pet-centric hotel. Or, stay in a cottage, cabin or an RV site on the Sanctuary grounds. Availability is limited, so keep in mind these other local options.
